Job Description for Head of Business Development:
Our client is a well established credit management service specialising in helping organisations manage debt.
This is an exciting position for an ambitious and innovative individual to head up the Business Development team. This is an important function within the organisation and will be a ‘hands on’ role. You will be both managing the business development / sales team and responsible for your own sales.
The Role:
·The role to take overall responsibility for the sales team, implement processes and increase sales.
·This is a hands on role and you will also manage your own sales.
·You will be office based in North West London but after initial training there will be the opportunity to work from home some of the time.
·The position is part internal and part visiting potential clients all over the UK so the flexibility to travel with some overnight stays is essential.
Experience & Skills for this Head of Business Development role:
·Candidates should have experience of managing a sales / business development team and driving growth and be ready for their next career move.
·Experience of putting processes in place, setting strategies and KPI’s
·Solid business development experience
·Ideally you will have sold a service. If you have experience of selling into solicitors, large recruitment firms or selling invoice financing it would be an added advantage but not necessary.
