Job Description for Business Development Manager:
 
Our client and their partners have developed a sustainable plastic substitute from waste materials. They have a vacancy for a Business Development Manager to research and develop opportunities and to lead negotiations to develop new business.
 
There is no requirement to come from a plastics background. There is a strong technical team in place and training and support available. However, experience of IP licencing deals is necessary.
 
You should enjoy a start up environment and the opportunity of a ground floor opportunity
 
There is likely to be the opportunity for international travel in the future
 
There is some flexibility, but the ideal is to be office based (SW3) three days a week and working from home two days a week. With some flexibility for travel when necessary.
 
 
Experience & Skills for this role:
* Candidates should have experience in a new business development role along with experience of negotiating contracts and IP licencing deals.
* Experience of implementing a commercial strategy is also necessary.
* You should enjoy a start up environment and the opportunity of a ground floor opportunity.
* Experience of selling into the Cosmetics or Industrial Powders / Additives sectors would be an added advantage.
