Job Description for Business Development Manager:
Our client is a worldwide leading provider of business news and analysis. They are looking for a Business Development Manager to generate new customers and manage relationships with existing ones within the Energy sector.
So, if you have experience of the Energy sector selling into trade / banking / investment / strategy fields and are keen to join an established worldwide company, this could be the role for you.
This is a challenging but very rewarding role, so a true ‘hunter’ is required, who is capable of overcoming objections and pushing a sale forward. This position will involve some international travel to represent the company at conferences, trade fairs and networking events using these opportunities to find new business.
Experience & Skills for this role:
* B2B New Business Development – researching / cold calling / closing (360 sales cycle)
* Good knowledge of Energy sector and participating companies
* Strong relationship building
* Pitching and Presentation skills face to face and online
* Good planning and time management skills
* Progression opportunity
* Hours 9am – 5pm
